We have always adored actress, Michelle Williams. From her days as the resident bad girl Jen Lindley on Dawson’s Creek to her transformation into a bona fide red carpet style star, our girl crush on her has seriously grown over the years. The actress has not only found a way to cement her style status with slightly offbeat yet glamorous looks, when it comes to her personal life, she’s also retained a level of class that most actresses only dream of.
This month, she’s gracing the cover of Elle UK and discussing motherhood, ‘I feel like I’m so good at raising a kid when I’m not working…I don’t forget anything. I’ve got everything covered. It’s a real luxury to have a moment when I’m not scrambling. I feel like most of my life, I’m trying to do two things at once, both to the best of my abilities.’
She also discussed shunning social media for good old fashioned poetry, ‘I love poetry because it’s like a shot, like an attack, like a dose. And for a person who doesn’t have very much free time, it does its work very quickly. So I read poems on my phone when I wake up in the morning.’
She adds, ‘It opens you up for the rest of the day, and suddenly your life becomes a little more observed. And when it becomes more observed, it can’t help but start to become more beautiful.’
As the face of Louis Vuitton, it makes sense that she was outfitted in the brand’s latest and chicest looks. As gorgeous as the clothes look on her, the one thing we can’t get enough of is her uber stylish and newly dyed platinum locks. The length is perfectly chic and the tousled waves are a great way to usher in spring.
The April 2015 issue of ELLE UK is out on newsstands and available via Apple Newsstand on March 5th.
