Wemi: Leah, There are definitely quite a few chic ways to rock your velvet blazer.
1. Because of the rich texture of the material, you can go the casual chic route and pair it with some skinny jeans and a silk camisole under the blazer (the silk will complement the velvet perfectly)…you can finish off your look with some booties or pumps.
2. Once again working off the richness of the blazer, you can pair it with a dress. For the winter months, deep but shocking colors like cobalt blue, plum or deep turquoise will do wonders for you.
3. Lastly, if you’re interested in a super polished or sophisticated look, pair the blazer with some black wide leg trousers. The all black look will be slimming but the velvet texture will give some variation. The wide leg trousers also give the illusion an elongated look, which is always a plus.
