Awards season 2012 is in full swing and the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards officially kicked things off this weekend as the stars descended upon the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The red carpet was filled with soft, dramatic and elegant looks as well as surprising hits and misses. Stars like Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron showed why they’re known as red carpet royalty while new comers like Paula Patton brought a breath of fresh air and color to the carpet. It was a night of gorgeously light colors. Lavender, blush and nude dresses ruled the carpet and this is just a taste of what’s to come this spring.
