Grammy 2013 Fashion – Rihanna stunned while J.Lo unfortunately disappointed
The Grammy Awards can always be counted on to bring the weird, the wacky and definitely the inappropriate on the red carpet. A look back at Jennifer Lopez’s infamous Versace number and Lady Gaga’s meat dress is all we need as a mental jog. This year, CBS sent out a letter ahead of music’s biggest night appealing to the stars to be on their best behavior when it comes to fashion. In a letter leaked to several media outlets, CBS’ Standards and Practices department urged the presenters and performers on Sunday night to “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered”. The letter also stated, “Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack…Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible ‘puffy’ bare skin exposure.”
On that note, let’s see if any of the night’s biggest names adhered to the rules. Here are all the hits and misses of the night.

Black & Skin were huge this evening: Jennifer Lopez was the first big miss of the night in this black number with thigh-high slit

Beyonce’s understated look also shocked the red carpet. The singer looked chic if slightly under dressed in color blocked Osman separates.
