After just recently recovering from the mess that was the MTV Video Music Awards, we must say, it was absolutely refreshing to see the über talented and always stylish Cate Blanchett at the Deauville Film Festival. The Blue Jasmine star stunned on the red carpet in a gorgeous, nude vintage lace number. From the long sleeves to the teacup length and hint of sparkle, there was nothing we didn’t love about Ms. Blanchett’s elegant dress.

Finishing of her look, the actress who is already gaining some serious Oscar buzz for her neurotic performance in Blue Jasmine, (we’ve seen it and yes, she is nothing short of fantastic) sported an equally nude face with just a hint of a glow. Ok, we admit it, we totally have a crush.

After attending the opening ceremony for the film festival, the gorgeous actress took a risk in a pattern adorned A-line gown. We’ve come to love her quirky and unpredictable style and in our humble opinion, we can’t think of anyone else who could possibly pull off the look below.
