After months of campaigning, schmoozing and promoting the year’s most talked about films, Hollywood gathered at the Kodak Theater tonight to cap off awards season with the Academy Awards ceremony. As usual, we’ve broken down the all the trends, hits and misses of the night.

Black was the most dominating color of this year’s awards season. Tonight, Hollywood did a complete turn around by opting for a lighter fare. The Oscars red carpet was filled with gorgeous champagne, blush and nude numbers.
