Trend spotting (80s revival) – Neon colors get a modern day makeover

Beyonce goes neon in a Michael Kors Cashmere top and patchwork Etro skirt

Ladies and gents of style, fasten your fashionable seat belts, we’re taking a little spin around the 80s this spring. In case you’ve missed all the shocking neon colors, bowler hats, ripped cut-off shorts, over the shoulder blouses and round rimmed glasses making a splash, fashion is taking inspiration from the past again. The 80s have always been questionable style-wise so it’s been an interesting surprise to see so many pieces from that era popping up. Fear not however, even the most questionable trends can be tweaked and turned into the ultimate chic pieces. One trend we have in mind is the neon look. Blindingly bright yellows, hot pinks and blood orange have all gotten a style makeover this season and we’re loving it. Here are some uber chic looks to inspire you.
