Test driving the trend: The Peter Pan collar happens to be one of my favorite features on a jacket. I’m a huge fan of 50s and 60s style jackets and have found over the years that I’ve acquired quite a few pieces with the Peter Pan collar. It’s allure to me is that it’s delicate, structured and ladylike all at once.

Style Tip: A jacket with a Peter Pan collar can be buttoned up or even played up with a scarf tied into a bow. In the past, I’ve paired the light wool jacket I’m wearing above with skinny jeans and over-the-knee boots as well as with a pencil skirt. I love that it’s that versatile.
